11th Century Armour

Designed and made for a exhibition performance piece and photoshoot. 

A chainmail hauberk and coif. Leather spaulders and shoes. Linen and wool quilted gambeson, hoes, and arming cap. Linen tunic and trunk hoes. 

For this piece I used, where possible, historical techniques and materials to focus on craft revival and process art.
